The members of our www.detdom.info project visited the Svetlana and Lydia’s families in Makariv area on the Easter’s eve. We gave our gifts and greetings.

Thanks for your efforts a lot of food, belts, stationery, personal hygiene items for children, footballs, mobile phone for Svetlana, funds and greetings from all of you were delivered!

Firstly we had a long conversation with Svetlana. She is a sincere, good woman. She is very grateful for the gifts and sends greetings and sincere words of gratitude for attention to her problems to all of you.

Now the most important thing is to deliver the baby, and then, says Svetlana, I will have a lot of work. A new fence is to be done, a barn to be build and water pipeline to be held, the building needs complete repairing, windows and doors have to be replaced. I must also arrange the cellar.

It’s difficult to believe that all this is told by a young girl, Svetlana, who already has three boys, Sasha who is 7 years old, Victor who is 4 and Dima, 2 years old, and a fourth boy will soon be born. And it’s unbelievable that there is no man who would help those plans to be implemented. As for us, we promise to help Svetlana as much as we can.

We hope that there are people who assist us. Another Svetlana’s dream is to buy a cow which would be the family feeder.

It was in the evening when we arrived to Lydia’s place. She was already waiting for us, too. Lydia is a charming woman, simple, good, and frank. She told us about her life, about their two boys, Victor, 12 years old, and 8-year-old Sasha.

Before our arrival Sasha got sick, the temperature raised up to 39 degrees, so the funds we passed were helpful. Moreover, he must soon go to Kyiv for a survey about spinal injuries.

Lydia‘s house in such a terrible condition that it is even difficult to imagine. It was built many years ago and has no basement, so it’s sinking gradually into unstable ground. The best option is to demolish it and build a little new one. Lydia agrees even for one room home. It’s a question how to do it.
