It’s so easy to do good things

On the 9th of December the members of the Mafia Honda car club and the Detdom.info internet project presented a modern ultrasound apparatus to the Child Oncology Center of the Kiev Regional Hospital, located in Kiev, 1 Baggoutovskaya Street.
The car club and Detdom.Info have a long history of co-operative activities to help children. June 2008 was a landmark when the members of the Mafia Honda Car Club – or the Honda family as the club is also called – organized the collection of money for a two-year-old Ivan who needed an extremely expensive treatment. Germany was the only country where the disease could be treated properly, and a huge amount of money was needed to be paid.

It’s only due to the support of Detdom.Info and auto clubs all round Ukraine, as well as all the people who were not indifferent, the Honda Club was able to collect enough money to help Ivan and his mother to get to Munich, Germany, and be cured successfully. They managed to save the kid’s life! Some money that was gathered for the operation was left over, and it was used to buy a new ultrasound apparatus to the regional hospital in Kiev.

This story is a great example of what we are able to do if we do it together despite of all the problems we face. That is only one case from thousands that happen every day and we should not forget that every such case is someone’s life. 

Today Honda Mafia, Detdom.Info and other car clubs support several orphanages. Some club’s members are trying to help everyone in hopeless situation as they are able. It is so easy to do good things.
